STUPA ON "TERRACE" WITH ROYAL PARASOLS

This kind of stupa was used to enshrine a relic of a highly respected monk or, in this case, probably a royal prince because of the five-tiered parasols at the base of the stupa. The pyramidal center part of the stupa is hollow to hold the sacred relic.
