TRIBAL SILVER BRACELETS

Set of ten Burmese hill tribe bracelets mounted on contemporary stands. The closed armbands are made of silver alloys with copper or tin and each of them has a unique design. Some of the bracelets seem to small and narrow to be worn suggesting that they may have been used as currency or money weights.
