VIETNAMESE HOI AN WARES

Ceramic boxes rediscovered from a shipwreck found near the city of Hoi An in Vietnam. The high fired ceramics are famous for its blue and white as well as monochrome white wares. These lided boxes feature a rarer monochrome blue underglaze with a design of a stylized floral pattern.
