WATER DROPPER

A water dropper was used by a calligrapher or painter who used colors as a medium to make liquid inks. Through a delicate spout in the dropper small amounts of water were dispensed on a solid block of ink to liquify it. Many of the water droppers come in shapes of animals like this one which reminds of a fish.
